Aomori Prefecture is the main producer of garlic in Japan, accounting for about 70% of the country's production. Yoshida Farm's garlic fields are located in Hirosaki City, where the short summer and long winter climate creates delicious garlic. Every December, snow begins to cover the entire farmland. Although the sub-zero environment is harsh, the garlic accumulates sugars during this period to protect itself from freezing. It is during this period that they thrive and become high-quality garlic.

High-quality soil, pesticide-free cultivation
In order to cultivate healthy garlic, we insist on not using pesticides, chemical fertilizers or herbicides. Although chemical fertilizers are effective, they make the soil barren. We focus on using organic fertilizers and the power of microorganisms to ensure that garlic grows healthily in the fertile soil of Aomori.

Snow-white "Shiroku-pie" garlic
The variety cultivated by Yoshida Farm is called "Shiroku-pie", which is named because of its snow-white appearance. Each bulb of garlic has only 6 pieces on average, but each piece is quite large and firm, with a smooth surface, rich flavor and sweetness, and rich nutrition.
